RAISE YOUR HEAD HIGH

Failure is not the end, it’s just the beginning of a new journey. Like my good friend will always say; “before you quit, always remember why you started.” – SEA. The truth is when you have discovered your passion, calling, life task, the unique you, the dream/imagination, vision, or what some people call focus point, after you must have realized this thing called PURPOSE, you are sure to face barriers (synonyms: fence, wall, blockage, barricade, obstruction, obstacle, hurdle, difficulty, stumbling block, sticking point, impediment, hindrance… find all synonyms to qualify it), this barriers are not meant to pull you down but to push you higher on the ladder to success. If you have given up on your dream in the past, kindly pick it up one more time and pursue it, move your calling on purpose, you can’t afford to go back and tell the story that you gave up, remember, many people started just like you, only those that carry on during hard times are the ones in spotlight. Be wise, don’t let a defeat put your back down, you can still rise up, don’t be scared, know that life holds more that what you see. Be courageous and fight on. Like Harvey Specter in Suits will say, it’s time to go kick some ass.

Things you must do when facing barriers to your success:

  • Get positive declarations (affirmations) and say it to yourself; such as “my life is a sensational story of success that the entire world will be in attention to listen to,” “I am a prosperous individual that believes true riches is not only possible but achievable,” “I can do it again, even if I fail, I can still do it better.”
  • Believe you can.
  • Maybe you are bulking the task, wanting to do more in short time, try to reduce the bulk, and now set goals and timeline to achieve desired objectives.

Move on to you success!

HOW TO MAKE YOUR FIRST MILLIONS.

Long ago, I was told about the story of a man who wanted to hold a very big event. He had invited guests from all over the country, and had even invited friends and associates from oversees to join him in the celebration. The preparation was going on well until someone discovered a problem that would pose a very big challenge.

When these guests arrive, they would definitely have enough to eat, but when they are done eating and they feel pressed, how would they ease themselves. They were thrown into a state of pandemonium, they all started thinking, what should we do, how can we defeat this problems that has always affected previous ceremonies like this.

After some hours, a man suggested an idea which was well embraced and accepted. Today we have the MOBILE TOILET because some set of people decided to put an end to a problem that could hinder their boss major event. The man that discovered the solution to the problem is now in millions because his idea is used in every major event today, and even placed in some streets.

What happened to the problem you just complained bitterly about? If the problem was so easy to complain about, then this problem should be easier to solve by you. Congratulations, you have just discovered another a major opportunity for making your first millions.

Each time you pass your street, you always complain about the environment always been dirty. Why not find a solution that would make the road neat and conducive, and also making your millions from the project. You complain bitterly about a reoccurring problem in your office, why not package the solution well and present it to your boss. Who says you cannot be promoted, with an increase in salary as a result of that.

If you know the problem well enough, why not proffer the solutions. The choice is yours anyway, but if you decide to join them in talking about the problem, make sure you don’t join them in saying there are no opportunities because you just finished talking about one.

Remember that you can use your disgust to create a positive result.

YOUR DREAM, YOUR FEAR

According to a wise saying, if your dreams do not scare you, then you don’t have one yet. A problem that you know its solution from the start is not worthy to be called a dream. In this same context, a dream that looks simple and can be easily achieved is not worth the name “my dream.” There is this boy by the name Mahmud, he has deep passion to be educated, until one day. On that faithful day, his father came back from work and found him playing tirelessly. When he entered the house after washing himself, his father threatened him that if you fail or repeat a class, that is the end of your education, you will go and learn trade/craft. This comment really dropped a heavy weight on his heart. As fate we have, he failed in his year one in secondary school. Actually, his failure was as a result of poor student management in his school as a result, he was doing exams in the wrong class…. (so bad a school I hear you say!). Thus, he was made to repeat the class, and to worsen the situation, the school only post results and promotion list on the wall and no dossier to take home even if his father ask for one.

This boy Mahmud, flashing back on his father’s threat, he decided to tell no member of his family about his failure to be promoted. He kept this as a top secret, even though sometimes he try to express his challenge to his siblings by telling them his story as if it was his friend’s story. On and on, this boy Mahmud keep going to school will determination in his heart to be educated. When it was time to write Junior WAEC (that is, entrance examination to be promoted to Senior Secondary School), he still held on to his secret, he pretend as if he was studying for the entrance exam. After the summer holiday, when he was supposed to be in a new class (JSS3), he pretended at home as if he was promoted to SSS1.

As unimaginable as his story his, this boy Mahmud wears the SSS1 uniform (a different uniform outfit) to school and change to his JSS3 class uniform when he get to school. (sobs*) Until one faithful day, a concerned adult, reported him to the school management and they decided to call his parent. Hmmmm….. watch out for the concluding part of the story.

YOU ARE A MASTERPIECE

Warren-Buffett Warren Buffet
A plum once said, just because a banana lover came by, I converted myself into a banana. Unfortunately, his taste changed after a few months and so I became an orange. When he said I was bitter I became an apple, but he went in search of grapes. Yielding to the opinions of so many people, I have changed so many times that I no more know who I am. How I wish I had remained a plum and waited for a plum lover.

Just because a group of people do not accept you as you are, there is no necessity for you to strip yourself of your originality. You need to think good of yourself, for the world takes you at your own estimate. Never stop down in order to gain recognition. Never let go of your true self to win a relationship. In the long run, you will regret that you traded your greatest glory – your uniqueness, for momentary validation. Even Gandhi was not accepted by many people. The group that does not accept you the way you are, is not your world.

There is a world for each one of you, where you shall reign as king / queen by just being yourself. Find that world… in fact, that world will find you. Continue reading
